Julia has had a profound impact on my childhood. When I met her at 6 years old she was one of the first adults to talk to me like I was simply a person. She always had time for my small drop in visits over the years and welcomed me with open arms. I feel truly lucky to have volunteered here under her leadership. She is one of my greatest role models and heroes.
